The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested five suspects allegedly involved in armed robbery in Mubi North Local Government Area.
The suspects — Muhammad Ali, 60; Kalifa Muhammed, 20; Nuhu Muhammed, 22; Jamilu Muhammad, 22; and Abdullahi Isa, 18 — were apprehended on April 10, 2025.
According to a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects were found in possession of offensive weapons including daggers, knives, and face masks, which they allegedly used to rob residents of their belongings.
Nguroje confirmed that some of the weapons and a face mask have been recovered as part of ongoing investigations.
