The Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), Most Rev. Dr. Musa Panti Filibus, has, on behalf of the Church, congratulated the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on the occasion of his sixth anniversary in office. He praised the Governor’s leadership as one marked by dedication, principled governance, and a steadfast commitment to justice and peace.
In a press statement released by the Church’s Communications Officer, Rev. Seth Mbusa Atiko, Archbishop Filibus described the Governor’s administration as exceptional, citing significant and unprecedented developmental strides achieved over the past six years.
The Archbishop commended Governor Fintiri for promoting democratic values rooted in fairness, inclusivity, and respect for all communities across the state.
He also lauded the Governor’s bold decision to establish new Emirates, Chiefdoms, and Districts—an answer to long-standing prayers from affected communities.
Archbishop Filibus further highlighted the Governor’s investments in infrastructure, education, economic development, and social progress, describing his foresight as both timely and aligned with the pressing needs of the state.
Despite the challenges encountered during his tenure, the Archbishop acknowledged Governor Fintiri’s strength, clarity of purpose, and deep concern for the well-being of the people, particularly the Lutheran Church, which remains grateful for the enduring relationship with his administration.
On behalf of the entire Church, Archbishop Filibus offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, protection, and strength for Governor Fintiri as he works toward a successful completion of his eight-year tenure.
