The National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, at the Government House in Yola.
The visit is believed to be part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between federal and state authorities on security and intelligence sharing.
The NSA was accompanied by senior commanders from various security agencies, highlighting the significance of the engagement.
The meeting, held behind closed doors, reportedly focused on strengthening the state’s security architecture and improving coordination in response to emerging threats.
Amid a resurgence of suspected Boko Haram attacks in parts of the state, the visit is viewed as a strategic effort to bolster inter-agency cooperation and align state security priorities with national objectives.
