The Adamawa State Government has procured a state-of-the-art CT scan machine for installation at the Specialists Hospital in Yola, marking a significant step in improving healthcare services.
Health Commissioner Chief Felix Tangwami received the equipment, accompanied by the hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Dauda Wadinga, and other senior officials. He highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening medical services, noting that another CT scan is planned for Numan General Hospital.
“This machine will enhance diagnostic capabilities, allowing better management of complex medical conditions,” Tangwami stated.
He confirmed that installation will begin soon, reinforcing the administration’s broader effort to upgrade healthcare infrastructure and improve medical care across the state.
