Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved the immediate dissolution of all Development Area Administrators and their Secretaries across the state.
In line with this directive, the affected officials are to hand over all affairs, documents, and property of their respective Development Areas to the most senior civil servants in their offices.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, says Governor Fintiri expressed his sincere appreciation to the outgoing administrators for their dedicated service and significant contributions to grassroots development. He described them as “great motivators” whose efforts have been instrumental in advancing the goals of his administration.
“I commend the Development Area Administrators for their tireless efforts in fostering development at the grassroots level,” the Governor said. “Their support has been vital to our achievements, and I wish them success in their future endeavors. We remain committed to the welfare and progress of the people of Adamawa State.”
To ensure continuity in governance, the Governor’s Office will provide necessary guidance and support to the most senior staff now tasked with overseeing the Development Areas. Government operations and programs will continue without interruption.
