Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has officially declared Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, marking a major political shift with implications for the state’s power dynamics ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The declaration was made during a grand reception organized to formally welcome Governor Fintiri into the APC, an event that drew party stakeholders, political allies, and supporters from across the state.
