South Africa may be on the brink of a medical breakthrough, with reports suggesting that researchers have developed a successful method to control HIV without the need for ongoing medication.

A groundbreaking clinical trial conducted by the University of KwaZulu-Natal has shown highly promising results.

This marks Africa’s first HIV cure trial, raising hopes for a potential long-term solution to the virus.

While further research and validation are needed, the findings suggest significant progress in the global fight against HIV/AIDS
