Women Group Congratulates Senator Binta Masi on her appointment

The North-East Women in Politics Frontiers has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Binta Masi on her recent appointment as the Pro-Chancellor of the newly established Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences in Iyin Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Comfort Ibrahim, the National Coordinator of the group, lauded the appointment, calling it a well-deserved recognition of Senator Masi’s dedication and leadership. She further expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for placing such trust in the senator, acknowledging the president’s foresight in selecting a capable leader for this pivotal role.

President Bola Tinubu officially approved the appointment of Senator Binta Masi Garba as the Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences in Iyin Ekiti, Ekiti State, further affirming his commitment to the development of higher education in the country.

In addition to Senator Masi, the members of the Governing Council appointed for the university include Prof. Joseph Olurotimi Sanya, Mr. Efe Emefienin Emmanuel, Dr. Joyce Ogunyemi, and Alhaji Dahiru Abdullahi Ruma. This distinguished council is tasked with steering the university towards excellence in education and research, particularly in the fields of technology and environmental sciences.
