President Bola Tinubu remains actively involved in the governance of Nigeria despite his current stay in Europe, the Presidency has assured.
In a statement released Thursday, presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga said the President’s trip is temporary and aligns with the earlier communicated timeframe of about two weeks.
According to Onanuga, Tinubu traveled from Paris to London over the weekend and has stayed in regular contact with key government officials. He has continued to oversee national affairs, including issuing directives to security agencies to tackle emerging threats across the country.
The President is expected to return to Abuja and resume duties at Aso Villa following the Easter holiday.
