Fintiri Wins Presidential Excellence Award for the Third Time

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has once again been named a recipient of the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS), marking his third consecutive national honour for outstanding performance in governance.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, the Governor will receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Governance on December 7, 2025, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will present the award.

According to the CPS, Governor Fintiri will be honoured as the Best-Performing Governor in Infrastructure and Urban Development, a category that spotlights transformative projects, urban renewal efforts, and infrastructural expansion under his administration.

Wonosikou noted that the Governor expressed profound gratitude for the recognition, describing it as a reinforcement of his administration’s commitment to growth, development, and efficient governance in Adamawa State.

Quoting the Governor, the CPS said:

“This award serves as a motivation to continue driving progress and prosperity in our state. We will continue to prioritise infrastructure development, improve governance, and enhance the quality of life for our citizens.”

He added that the honour is a testament to the teamwork, dedication, and shared vision of the people and government of Adamawa State.
