PDP Ward Congresses in Adamawa Hailed as Smooth and Transparent

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward congresses held across Adamawa State have been widely described as smooth, transparent, and successful, with most ward executives emerging through consensus at designated centers.

Leading the monitoring committee, Barrister Gibon Timothy Katabs — Secretary to the Government of Taraba State — said the exercise reflected the party’s unity and political maturity in Adamawa. Katabs and his team visited several wards to observe proceedings and praised members for their peaceful and orderly conduct.

He described the Adamawa congresses as “the best conducted among the twelve states where similar exercises took place,” commending men and women across the state for upholding the party’s values.

Joining the tour, PDP Organising Secretary Alhaji Hamza Bello Madagali expressed similar satisfaction, noting that the success of the ward congresses signaled the party’s preparedness for upcoming political challenges.

With the process concluded without rancor, party leaders affirmed that the spirit of consensus and cooperation demonstrated at the grassroots would further strengthen the PDP’s internal democracy and position it for future contests.
